Nice to Meet you!

Hi, I’m Nena, owner and creator of The Briarwood Collection. This is a family (husband and two little girls) run business, meaning when I am in a rush and need help, my family is there for me. I’m thankful for their help and support daily. Every other business hat is worn by me!

 

I take pride in each step of the process and enjoy sharing this love of owning a business with my daughters. Teaching my daughters by example and sharing this potential future for themselves is the best gift I could ever give them.

 

I grew up always dreaming of working for myself (as well as being a stay at home mom while running a business). My first memories of having my own businesses were making hair wraps during recess in primary school,and a few years later, I made seed bead brackets that I sold to friends. My entire life growing up, I was surrounded by people who did not fit the norm of “go to college, get a job, and work until you have enough to retire”. Unknowingly, I have constantly surrounded myself with entrepreneurs throughout my life. I have owned and helped run several other successful businesses in my adult life, and I have learned a lot from each of them. I love being able to take those skills and lessons learned to move forward with building the The Briarwood Collection brand.

 

This passion for business, creativity, and pursuing financial freedom to support myself (plus teaching others how to do the same) is the main driving power behind The Briarwood Collection. I am here to help inspire and empower other women to live their ideal lives. I want to help them discover their inner beauty while providing sparkle for their outer beauty.

 

Bringing a love of creativity + a love of making women feel beautiful and empowered = a beautiful collection.
